Introduction. Overview. 316Ti is a type of austenitic stainless steel; it is a derivate of 316 stainless steel with titanium stabilization. In theory, 316Ti is to type 316 what 321 is to type 304.ium is added to 316 stainless so as to enhance intergranular corrosion resistance following heating under the temperature range of 425-815C. 317L Stainless Steel-Introduction, Applications, Data Sheet317L (00Cr19Ni13Mo3, UNS S31726) alloy is a molybdenum-based austenitic stainless steel.
